About Anna Fife LPC SEP

I’m a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Houston (2011), and over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s many transitions. My clinical background includes work in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient assessment centers, home-based therapy, early childhood settings, employee assistance programs, and private practice. These varied roles have given me a rich foundation in diverse therapeutic modalities and the ability to support clients from all walks of life.

Early in my career, I focused on children, adolescents, and families, building deep expertise in child-centered play therapy and parenting support. Over time, my work expanded to include adults navigating trauma, life transitions, grief, mood disorders, and personal growth. I hold my designation as a Somatic Experiencing Professional from Somatic Experiencing International. My approach blends evidence-based practices with somatic, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed techniques to support holistic healing.

At the heart of my work is a strong belief in our human capacity for growth and resilience. I see therapy as an invitation to rediscover your inner strength, reclaim joy, and live with more intention — even in the face of hardship. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are healing from trauma, including perinatal and postpartum challenges, single parenting, and reclaiming pleasure and embodiment after sexual trauma.

As a therapist, I am committed to social justice and culturally attuned care. I understand that mental health cannot be separated from the impact of systemic oppression, discrimination, and generational trauma — especially for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically marginalized communities. I strive to create an affirming, nonjudgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. I bring a culturally humble, intersectional, and anti-oppressive lens to therapy and continue to educate myself on issues of equity, inclusion, and collective healing.

I am kink-aware, poly-affirming, and deeply respectful of diverse identities and relationship structures. I welcome clients exploring identity, intimacy, boundaries, and self-expression with curiosity and compassion.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a ceramic artist — you can find my work on Instagram at @evolve_stoneware. Clay work is a meaningful personal practice for me — a place to center, reflect, and reconnect. I’m also a nature lover and spend time soaking up the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Most importantly, I’m a single mother to a spirited little boy who reminds me every day of the importance of play, presence, and patience. When time allows, I love traveling and immersing myself in different cultures — it keeps me grounded and inspired.
