Healing Offerings
You don’t need to fit into a specific category or diagnosis to benefit from therapy. Below, I’ve included main areas of focus in my practice, but ultimately, your individual experience is what matters most.
Each of us carries a unique life story — and with it, moments of pain, challenge, and transformation. If you're here because you're hurting, questioning, or simply seeking deeper understanding, know that you're not alone. I’m here to listen, to support your growth, and to walk alongside you as we explore your inner world together.
Therapy can be helpful at any point in life — whether you’re navigating a major transition, healing from trauma, or simply wanting to feel more grounded and whole. Whatever brings you here is valid, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
Somatic Experiencing
“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably
the single most important aspect of mental health;
safe connections are fundamental to
meaningful and satisfying lives.”
- Bessel Van Der Kolk, M.D.
SE employs awareness of body sensation to help people "renegotiate" and heal rather than re-live or re-enact trauma.
SE's guidance of the bodily "felt sense," allows the highly aroused survival energies to be safely experienced and gradually discharged.
SE may employ touch in support of the renegotiation process.
SE “titrates” experience (breaks down into small, incremental steps), rather than evoking catharsis - which can overwhelm the regulatory mechanisms of the organism.
SE can result in a number of benefits to you, such as relief of traumatic stress symptoms, increased resiliency, and resourcefulness.
SE may offer you many benefits such as an increase in your ability to self-soothe, feel empowered, and feel more resilient. However, there may also be risks as with any treatment that focuses on healing trauma. Such reactions are not uncommon and can be attended to in the course of our work together.
Although SE is designed to help you resource and work with manageable amounts of discomfort, you may experience challenging feelings, images, or thoughts, sleep disturbances, as well as unfamiliar or uncomfortable body sensations. Furthermore, as with any stress reduction treatment, there can be no guarantee that you will reach your goals. That said, many people report that SE has helped them tremendously and has created positive change in their lives. Learning how to reorganize “body memory” is often vital to learning how to relax and calm your nervous system.
SE does not require you to re-tell or re-live the traumatic event, which can be helpful in the case of pre-verbal trauma. When working through a trauma story, working with narrative can be done gradually to build capacity and resilience. SE offers the opportunity to engage, complete, and resolve—in a slow and supported way—the body’s instinctual fight, flight, freeze, and collapse responses. Individuals locked in anxiety or rage then relax into a growing sense of peace and safety. Those stuck in depression often gradually find their feelings of hopelessness and numbness transformed into empowerment, triumph, and mastery. SE catalyzes corrective bodily experiences that contradict those of fear and helplessness and seeks to restore a sense of aliveness and pleasure.
Note: The Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute states that Somatic Experiencing is neither a form of psychotherapy nor a bodywork technique, though it lends itself well to being integrated into these and other treatment modalities.
Somatic Pleasure Education and Integration
Drawing from somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed principles, this work centers your autonomy, consent, and comfort. Together, we’ll explore how to tune into bodily sensations, expand your window of tolerance for pleasure, and release shame or fear that may be blocking your connection to yourself.
Somatic pleasure education is especially supportive for individuals healing from sexual trauma, reclaiming their bodies after childbirth or illness, or simply wanting to deepen intimacy with themselves or others. All genders, sexualities, and relationship structures are welcome in this affirming, inclusive space.
Somatic Pleasure Education is a body-based, trauma-informed approach to reconnecting with pleasure, presence, and personal empowerment. Rooted in somatic psychology, nervous system regulation, and mindful erotic awareness, this work helps individuals explore how pleasure can become a source of healing, vitality, and self-knowledge — especially for those recovering from trauma, disconnection, or shame.
In these sessions, pleasure is not viewed as something frivolous or indulgent — it is seen as a core part of our aliveness and humanity. Many people have learned to disconnect from pleasure due to painful experiences, cultural conditioning, or nervous system dysregulation. Through guided somatic practices, you’ll be invited to gently rediscover your own body as a safe-enough place to experience sensation, curiosity, and joy.
We begin by building somatic awareness — the ability to tune into internal sensations with mindful attention. This may include breathwork, body scans, posture awareness, gentle movement, and felt sense exploration. These practices help you notice what’s happening in your body without judgment, and begin to track how sensations shift in response to safety, connection, and stimulation.
Somatic Pleasure Education supports:
Reclaiming embodied pleasure after trauma or numbness
Rebuilding a sense of internal safety and agency
Deepening awareness of consent, boundaries, and desires
Exploring sensuality as a non-performance-based experience
Honoring your personal learning zone — the place between comfort and overwhelm where growth happens
Befriending your body, even (and especially) when you’ve felt alienated from it
We work at your pace, respecting your rhythms and nervous system responses. You are always in control of the process — consent, choice, and empowerment are central. Whether you’re seeking to reclaim erotic joy, reconnect with your body after childbirth or illness, or explore new dimensions of self-expression and intimacy, this work offers a grounded, compassionate container.
Somatic Pleasure Education integrates:
The felt sense (a concept developed by Eugene Gendlin), which supports communication, intuition, embodied consent, and emotional clarity
The practice of befriending the body and welcoming imperfection — recognizing that healing is non-linear, and growth happens in moments of discomfort as well as delight
A nuanced understanding of pleasure as a nervous system experience — one that can be cultivated gently, safely, and creatively over time
Tools for noticing subtle shifts in sensation — including temperature, pressure, movement, and texture — which help rewire the brain for presence and possibility
This work is inclusive and affirming of all bodies, sexualities, identities, and relationship styles. It’s especially supportive for individuals healing from sexual trauma, seeking embodied healing, or exploring pleasure in midlife, postpartum, or beyond.
If you are curious about what it means to feel safe enough to experience joy, connection, or desire in your body, this practice may offer a compassionate doorway back to yourself.
My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, somatic psychotherapy, and a deep respect for the complexity of each client’s story.
Over the years, I’ve provided care in a wide range of settings — including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, employee assistance programs, foster care systems, and private practice. These experiences have allowed me to work with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges related to trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, grief, workplace stress, and identity exploration.
I work holistically, incorporating body-based practices, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and post-traumatic growth. I have led psychoeducational groups and supported employees through organizational change, critical incidents, and mental health crises in both supervisory and clinical roles.
My approach is inclusive and culturally responsive. I am particularly passionate about working with:
Survivors of trauma, including sexual trauma and complex PTSD
Mothers and single parents navigating perinatal mental health
LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals
Clients exploring identity, intimacy, and embodiment
Those reclaiming pleasure and aliveness in their bodies
Therapy with me may include talk-based exploration, somatic tracking, expressive arts, or skills-based work depending on your needs. My goal is to create a space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal — on your own terms and in your own time.
Psychotherapy
I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a therapeutic option for individuals navigating treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. This work combines the power of ketamine with the grounding support of somatic and psychotherapeutic care — creating space for deep emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and new insight.
Sessions are structured to include preparation, guided ketamine sessions (in collaboration with a prescribing medical provider), and post-journey integration. My approach is body-based, relational, and trauma-informed, ensuring you are held with safety and care every step of the way.
I also offer psychedelic integration therapy to help individuals make meaning of past experiences with plant medicines or psychedelics. Whether your journey was challenging, illuminating, or both, integration allows you to digest what emerged, gently weave it into your life, and move forward with clarity and support.
This work is not about chasing peak experiences — it’s about coming home to yourself, with support, intention, and compassion.
