Hi, I’m Anna Fife (she/her) — a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC) and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) based in Austin, Texas. I offer integrative, trauma-informed psychotherapy and somatic healing for women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and BIPOC clients who are seeking to reconnect with their bodies, reclaim pleasure, and feel more resourced in their lives.
My approach blends traditional talk therapy with body-based healing. I specialize in Somatic Experiencing®, DBT-informed therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, healing from complex developmental trauma and reconnection to embodied wisdom. I also offer somatic pleasure education — a gentle, nonjudgmental space to explore desire, intimacy, sensuality, and embodiment through a trauma-sensitive and consent-centered empowerment lens.
My work is deeply informed by my own journey of post-traumatic growth. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming healing can feel — and I also know the profound freedom that can come from doing this work with the right support. I bring both professional training and lived empathy to the therapeutic relationship.
Our work together will be relational, collaborative, culturally humble, and guided by your inner wisdom. My approach is nonjudgmental and honors the full complexity of your story — mind, body, and spirit. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a place to start — and a space that sees and honors all of you.
Healing Offerings
-
Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a naturalistic form of healing that will help you learn how to settle and release physiological activation from your body. Very often this process helps people to reduce stress and return to a sense of regulation and mastery in their lives. SE will support you in learning how to attend to uncomfortable sensations in your body and gently unwind them through your conscious attention. SE is particularly useful in managing stress because so many of the symptoms are physiological.

Somatic Pleasure Education and Integration
Pleasure is a vital part of our well-being — yet for many, it’s a source of confusion, shame, or disconnection, especially after trauma. Somatic pleasure education offers a gentle, body-based approach to reconnecting with your natural capacity for joy, sensuality, and embodied presence. These sessions are designed to help you explore the relationship between your body, boundaries, safety, and pleasure — all at your own pace.
Somatic pleasure education teaches through body experiences designed to nurture, deepen or awaken the sensual self. These experiences can include coaching in breath, movement, body awareness, boundary-setting, communication, anatomy, sensate focus and other body- based teaching about pleasure.
Love and fear, excitement and relaxation, arousal and happiness, reverence and bliss all have biochemical and physiological components that can be regulated, with training and conscious practice over time.

Psychotherapy
I specialize in DBT-informed therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion practices to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and reconnection to embodied wisdom.
I’m especially passionate about working with mothers, single parents, and those navigating postpartum mental health, caregiving stress, or identity shifts. I also hold deep space for those healing after sexual trauma — clients who may feel disconnected from their bodies, their sensuality, or their right to pleasure. I believe that reclaiming pleasure is a radical and necessary part of healing.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Psychedelic Integration
I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a therapeutic option for individuals navigating treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. This work combines the power of ketamine with the grounding support of somatic and psychotherapeutic care — creating space for deep emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and new insight.
Sessions are structured to include preparation, guided ketamine sessions (in collaboration with a prescribing medical provider), and post-journey integration. My approach is body-based, relational, and trauma-informed, ensuring you are held with safety and care every step of the way.
I also offer psychedelic integration therapy to help individuals make meaning of past experiences with plant medicines or psychedelics. Whether your journey was challenging, illuminating, or both, integration allows you to digest what emerged, gently weave it into your life, and move forward with clarity and support.
This work is not about chasing peak experiences — it’s about coming home to yourself, with support, intention, and compassion.
